Paris–Nordkapp is not a rally. It’s not a race. It’s something different. A legendary departure: Paris. A mythical destination: Nordkapp. Thousands of kilometers of mixed terrain, dirt, gravel, tarmac, through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Europe.
The second edition will take place from June 26th to July 10th, 2027. Riders will gather in Paris, at the Château d’Ormesson, for administrative checks and briefings on June 26th and 27th. The official start will be at midnight, as the 28th of June begins.
There is no assistance. Riders carry everything they need. Navigation, planning, and self-reliance are the foundation. The final destination: the North Cape. A place that symbolizes arrival, remoteness, and the climax of an extraordinary journey.

THE ROUTE
It all begins in Paris, and it begins on two different roads.
Every category leaves Paris and every category reaches Oslo four days later, north through Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden, with the Kiel to Göteborg ferry crossing on the way. But they do not ride the same route.
Rally GPX and Rally RoadBook take the adventure formula from the very first kilometre: around 50% tarmac and 50% off road.
Explorer GPX runs entirely on tarmac, on scenic roads.
From Oslo the two routes separate for good.
Explorer GPX: eight days inside Norway. The fjords of the western coast, Bergen, then the Jostedalsbreen, the largest glacier in continental Europe, and the Sognefjellsvegen, the highest paved road in Northern Europe. Then Geiranger and the Dalsnibba viewpoint, the Trollstigen and the Trollveggen, the Atlantic Road, the Arctic Circle and the ferry to the Lofoten islands. From there you ride up to Honningsvåg to find everyone else again.
Rally GPX and Rally RoadBook: eight days inside Lapland. From Oslo towards Sweden, through the scattered trails and the forests of Swedish Lapland, as far as Lycksele. Then northern Finland and its off-road wonders, up to Rovaniemi, the home of Santa Claus. From there, the last two days to reach Honningsvåg in one push.
On July 10th, at 00.00, everyone rides together for the final parade to North Cape.
The journey unfolds along a carefully crafted route made of panoramic asphalt roads, forgotten off-road tracks, and hidden trails carved by nature and time.
To face it, you’ll need a motorcycle that can handle everything: adventure or rally, twin or single-cylinder, what matters is being prepared. Your machine must be ready for full autonomy: bags, tools, knobby tires, and above all, a spirit for the unknown.
Paris–Nordkapp is not about getting from point A to point B. It’s about savoring every section, riding the hairpins that hang over the fjords, the flowing gravel of Lapland, and highlands that stretch endlessly beneath the midnight sun.
Each kilometer is part of the experience. There are no transfers. Every note in your RoadBook is a call to adventure.

Paris–Nordkapp is built around a unique “Gate System”: four strategic checkpoints along the route, designed not to dictate your pace, but to give rhythm to the northbound journey.
Four days to reach Gate 1 in Oslo, where all the classes come together. Three days to Gate 2, three days to Gate 3, two days to Gate 4. On top of each leg there is a tolerance window.
There is no point in rushing, because you will not be able to leave before the new start order the following day. What you do have to do is arrive before the Gate closes, or you are out of the event. The Gates keep time while still leaving a fair amount of flexibility in your hours, and therefore in your pace.
This system balances freedom with structure: it prevents the chaos of open pacing while still allowing each participant to ride according to his own strategy. Whether you move steadily and sleep in hotels, or push harder and camp under the stars, the Gate System ensures everyone moves forward together, on their own terms, but within a shared tempo.
Strategic checkpoint
Each gate is a strategic checkpoint and gathering point. It opens and closes at set times. Riders must arrive within the time window and stop for mandatory rest. Failing to check in means elimination.
But the gate is much more than a control point. It is a place to recharge and reconnect.

At every Gate, riders will find a fully equipped Malle Moto zone: a self-service workshop stocked with professional tools, tire-changing equipment, and high-quality lubricants. It’s the perfect space to perform maintenance, make adjustments, and get your bike ready for the next stretch. Whether you need to change tires, tighten bolts, or simply give your machine some love, this is your garage away from home.
A celebration of community
Each Gate becomes a shared moment in the journey, a celebration where all riders come together around food, stories, and laughter. It’s where the solitude of the road gives way to connection, and where the faces behind the helmets come to life. Around the fire or at a long table, it’s a chance to reconnect with the human side of the adventure.
A special skill challenge
To add a touch of fun, skill, and surprise, every Gate hosts a special challenge. These can range from precision riding to creative problem solving, and are designed to reward adaptability and control. Riders who complete the challenge successfully earn bonus credits, proving that adventure is as much about finesse as it is about endurance.

Each Gate is set near a location chosen for its scenic beauty, logistical convenience, and comfort. These tourist-friendly areas provide access to functional, welcoming accommodations, from mountain lodges to cozy inns, ensuring that your mandatory rest is also restorative. Whether you prefer a hot shower or a soft bed, the Gate will offer a well-earned pause in the journey.
